Understanding how to rent with Joivy 🏠
In our busiest time of the year, mainly at the start of each university semester, you may be faced with no rooms left in your city of preference. Unfortunately, this means that the last rooms have all been booked!
Just to explain, Joivy updates the available rooms on the website based on two things :
- When our current tenants give their notice to leave their accommodation
- When we have finished renovating a new apartment
We will publish a room on our website as soon as we receive the current tenant's departure notice.
If there are no rooms, this means that nobody has recently given their departure notice, or that all the rooms that were available in the future have already been booked.
However, the good news is that our team is constantly renovating new apartments and, as soon as these are published to the website, they will be available to move into immediately! 👌
If you haven't already, we would strongly recommend that you create an alert with us so that you can receive updates as soon as new rooms are posted to the website!
For reference, our rooms are booked from our website on a "first come, first served" basis, and we cannot control when the rooms are reserved. So just bear in mind that as soon as we publish these new rooms to the site they will likely to be reserved within the hour!
