How to receive my deposit back ?
You paid a deposit before moving into your accommodation at the beginning of your stay. This acts as a protection for Joivy in case any damage occurs to the property. It will be refunded to you after you have left your accommodation, as long as no damage has occurred throughout your stay and we have not had to replace anything.
After your check-out, please fill out the bank details for the account that you wish to receive the refund in. You can do this on your Joivy account, in the section, "My transactions".
In accordance with law n°. 89-462 of 6th July 1989, your security deposit will be refunded within 30 days, provided that the check-out report made at the end of the rental period matches the inventory of fixtures at the beginning. If this is not the case, the refund period may be extended to 60 days. During this time, our teams will compare the inventory you signed at the beginning of your stay with the report made during your check-out.
One the official comparison has been made by our team, our accountancy department will complete the refund.
