You may have a shutter in your apartment. It will either be manual or automatic. The difference is that the automatic one will simply require for you to push on a button and the manual one will be operated using a handle.
Manual shutter :
Is the mechanism that opens and closes the shutter broken?
- If it's the lower part of the rotation handle that came out of the principal handle, you can try to screw it back in.
- If it is the upper part of the mechanism that is broken, please ask for technical assistance via support.france@joivy.com
Is the shutter blocked in an askew position ?
- You simply need to gently push it up, to enable the shutter to function normally again. If this problem continues, please contact for technical assistance via support.france@joivy.com
Automatic shutter :
The shutter isn't functioning ?
- Check your electrical installation as it is possible the switch for your shutter has jumped on the circuit board.
- If the electrical current is indeed present, and you can hear the motor mechanism turning, but nothing is happening, please as for technical assistance via support.france@joivy.com
The shutter is stuck diagonally while descending?
- You will need to stop the shutter from descending and press the upward button briefly to make sure there is a small push in an upward direction. If the shutter corrects its own position and it is straight again, you can push the button for it to descend again.
Do not try to move the automatic shutter if it is blocked. Please get directly in contact with our techical assistance team.
Some advice :
- When you leave the apartment for a long time, it is better to close your blinds or shutters.
- If it's hailing or raining a lot, close your shutters to protect your windows.
- If there is a lot of wind, leave the shutters completely open during the day and completely closed during the night.
