The electrical appliances provided by Joivy are of the same standard in all of our apartments. The information below therefore applies to the vast majority of irons in our apartments. In the event of a technical problem such as a electrical connection problem, an issue with one of the pieces, or a general issue with functioning, our technical team is on hand to help you.
Any problem which results due to lack of care or incorrect use will be your responsibility.
How to correctly maintain my iron :
To get rid of any limescale that has accumulated on your iron, you can add white vinegar to the reservoir instead of water. You will then need to use the iron on a towel until the reservoir is empty. The vinegar will get rid of any limescale or residue, and you will be able to use the iron as normal again.
I have been having a technical issue with my iron :
The electrical connection :
- Make sure the iron is plugged into an electrical outlet. If the iron is not turning on, make sure to first check that this plug is working by connecting another device to it.
- If there is no power or indicator light, check your electrical switchboard.
