So you've found a room you want to book with Joivy? Great news! 😄
The reservation process is as smooth as possible and you should be finished in under 10 minutes! ⏱️
1. Choose the room of your dreams ✨
Once you have found the bedroom you want to choose from our offers, you need to reserve it so it doesn't slip through your fingers !
To reserve your bedroom, you need to click on the button, "Rent This Bedroom", at the bottom right of the page.
2. Fill out your personal information in the correct boxes
Having clicked on the button, "Rent This Bedroom", you're now one step closer to making your reservation! You can now create your personal Joivy account using your name, your surname, your email address, your password and your phone number.
You will also need to indicate as to whether you will be staying in this room alone, which you can do by clicking, "Only me", or if you two people will be sharing the room, in which case you can click, "Me and another person". This option will only appear if the room is eligible for two people. (Please note that if you wish to rent the room as a couple, you will have to add 200€ to your rent for each month).
You can then click on the the button, "Let's Go".
3. Reservation Summary ❕
Have a read through all the information on your Rental Summary and make sure you're happy with it. Here you'll find a recap of your reservation and the different fees you'll have to pay in order to receive your contract. These fees include (1) Service fee, (2) the first month's rent and (3) the security deposit.
4. Identity Information
On this page, you can fill out your personal identity information so that we can edit your contract. This information will include : your date of birth, your current address, your nationality, your emergency contact.
5. Financial Situation
The Joivy offer reduces your administrative work as much as possible. If you are asked to complete a dossier, we will ask you for a maximum of 3 documents.
There are several options available to complete a Joivy dossier :
- You can provide your own financial document
- You can find a guarantor if you do not have the means to provide your own financial history
- You can complete an application with Garantme or SmartGarant, companies which acts as a guarantor for some of our tenants
You will be able upload the correct documents to your Joivy account, depending on your situation, once you have reserved your room.
If you select Garantme or SmartGarant you will be redirected to their website.
6. Payment 🎉
One last push and you're there!
You will need to click the box at the top of this page to pay your Service Fee and finalise your reservation. Before doing this, you will have to read and accept the general terms of sale, and the conditions of your rental agreement. It's only after having read, accepted and ticked these boxes that you will be able to pay the Service Fee and reserve your room.
7. Making Your Payment 💳
It's the last step, the final seconds before your reservation!
Our Service Fee is necessary to reserve your room with Joivy. You only have to pay it one time when you reserve online. Once the payment has been made, the bedroom is yours and will taken off our website so nobody else can reserve it!
We renovate, furnish, decorate and equip our apartments and houses.
We put in place all your rental services (housing insurance, internet, flexible check-in)
We draw up your individual rental contracts.
Our support and maintenance teams teams are on hand to help you with any issues with the your property and its appliances throughout your stay.
Get your card details and a coffee ready, (the coffee is optional), and you will be able to make the payment on our secure payment portal.

8. WELL DONE 🎉
Congratulations! You have completed all of the steps! Your bedroom has been reserved, and you will now receive an email from our support team explaining the necessary steps to organise your move into your new home!
